Rumor Mill: Ouendan leaving Japan?

By Spencer . February 23, 2006 . 8:03am

News has sparked up about Inix’s wacky music/rythym game Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan! making appearances in both Europe and the USA. Recently a news blurb by Jeux-France popped up stating that a Nintendo UK rep said so. There’s no other source information outside of this vague post. The other rumor has been floating around for awhile. Supposedly Atlus is going to localize this title for the USA. In the past Atlus translated Cubivore, which was originally a Nintendo title so it’s not too far fetched. While we are hoping that Ouendan appears in more regions, both of these rumors don’t have distinct sources. In the mean time enjoy these Ouendan wallpapers.

Update: We contacted Atlus about this and they told us that they cannot confirm Ouendan as one of their titles. However, they are going to announce some new games in the next coming weeks so we’ll know if Ouendan is in their hands soon.
