Confirmed by a Sega Press release Ryu ga Gotoku, created by Toshihiro Nagoshi of Shenmue Super Monkey Ball fame is coming to the USA and Europe. The game is coming over in Summer of 2006 under the name of “Yakuza”, which Sega registered last year. The game puts you in the role of Kiryu Kazuma who was just released from prison. Yakuza offers free range play where you can explore Tokyo’s nightlife and a free form fighting system. We’re looking forward to hearing more about Yakuza as we approach E3.
