Gitaroo Man rocking out on a PSP?

Rumors have been spreading about Inix’s rhythm action game Gitaroo Man coming to the PSP under the name “Gitaroo Man Live”. Currently there is no real substantial evidence for this game. No screenshots and worse no information from Koei. The only source for this rumor are import video game sites, which have started listing the game for sale as early as May 2006. It’s possible that a new Gitaroo Man game is in the works since the development costs for the game would be low, even lower if it’s a port of the PS2 game. And a couple of import game sites have spread the word about products like the DS Lite months early, but a May release seems unlikely unless Koei is going to spring this game as a surprise addition to the PSP library.
