New games in the Tales series unveiled

By Spencer . June 20, 2006 . 7:10am

Bandai Namco games announced a bunch of new releases in the Tales RPG series. There are three PSP games in the works starting with Tales of Phantasia Full Voice Edition. The title is based on the PS1 remake of the Super NES / GBA game. Like other games in the Tales series Production I.G. will handle the game’s animation. The Playstation 2 game, Tales of Destiny 2 (not the US Tales of Destiny 2, which is Tales of Eternia) is being released for the PSP sometime in 2007. Then there is Tales of the World: Raidant Mythology, which looks like a brand new game in the series. Coming out for the PS2 on September 7th, 2006 is a remake of Tales of Destiny (pictured). The new version is getting all new graphics to suit the Playstation 2. There’s still more Tales details to come tomorrow, possibly a Tales game for the Wii, PS3 or Xbox 360.
