Bloody bikini zombie battles (Oneechanbara!) comes to the Xbox 360

The Oneechanbara series has been a surprise hit for D3 Publisher. What started out as a budget title in Japan (it was first introduced as a Simple 2000 game) is now getting a full next generation make over for the Xbox 360. The Oneechanbara series is sort of like Dynasty Warriors, except your hacking away at zombies and playing as a bikini clad, sword wielding, female warrior with a cowboy hat. The Oneechanbara games are also infamous for spewing out blood when zombies are slashed away. Now the series leaps out of the Simple 2000 arena and becomes a full blown Xbox 360 title, the Oneechanbara vorteX set for release this winter in Japan. Since D3 Publisher does have a US branch could an international release be far behind? Maybe… previously the Oneechanbara was released in Europe under the name Zombie Zone, but none of the games have ever been brought to North America.
