Nintendo announced that The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess will come out as a launch title for Wii on Nov. 19th. While the Gamecube release is delayed until December 11th. A clever marketing move made by Nintendo to boost sales of their new console at the expense of possibly cannibalizing sales of Twilight Princess on the Gamecube.
The Wii version does have a few upgrades like Wiimote control. You can use the Wii’s remote as a virtual fishing rod, to select targets for the gale boomerang and if you swing it around Link will do his spin attack. Also if you have a widescreen TV the Wii version is probably the better choice since it has widescreen support. Nintendo hasn’t officially announced any new content for Twilight Princess on the Wii, so it looks like the major difference is in the control scheme. Back in E3 ’05 the Gamecube version of Twilight Princess had a tight responding “traditional” control set up. So it isn’t like the Gamecube is getting the short end of the stick. If you want a more traditional experience the Gamecube game might be a better pick. Will you pick up a Wii and Twilight Princess on the first day? Or wait nearly a full month for it to come out on the Gamecube?
people that cant afford Wii’s will probably buy it.
also Good, i think your right. the Wii is like the gamecube, but the Wii brings a new style of gameplay to gamers.
i dont like the idea of the wii i dont find it very fun dancing around whilst playing a game, considering that you can just sit down and press buttons on a controller ill be buying it for GC i hope brawl comes out for GC 2

I doubt that GC’s version will sell… I’m sure that thx to all that Wii’s boom no one will care about any other version than the one for Wii.
But umm I have a strange feeling that Wii is just a GC with new fancy controller, anyone feels the same ?
