Review scores aren’t necessarily a fair indicator whether a game is good or bad or if a system is going to fly or fail. They are just numbers after all, but here is what Famitsu thinks of the PS3 launch titles.
Ridge Racer 7 (PS3, Namco Bandai): 9, 9, 9, 9 - (36/40)
Resistance: Fall of Man (PS3, Sony): 9, 8, 8, 8 - (33/40)
Mobile Suit Gundam: Target in Sight (PS3, Namco Bandai): 8, 8, 8, 8 - (32/40)
Genji: Kamui Souran (PS3, Sony): 7, 7, 7, 8 - (29/40)
Sega Golf Club: Miyasato Miyoshi Kyoudai Naizou (PS3, Sega): 7, 7, 7, 7 - (28/40)
I’m surprised that Mobile Suit Gundam: Target in Sight (aka Mobile Suit Gundam: Crossfire) got such good marks, after hearing about the game it sounded rather unimpressive.

I’ve got to admit I’m surprised at these scores.
Famitsu is often known for giving rather generous scores for mediocre games.
Well we won’t know until we’ve had a chance to play them to see if this was another one of those cases.
