Naruto: Clash of Ninja 2 sells strong

By Spencer . November 14, 2006 . 12:49pm

D3 Publisher announced that Naruto: Clash of Ninja 2 was the top selling Gamecube game for October. I don’t want to pour cold water on the announcement, but to be fair there weren’t that many other games released for the Cube in October. The continued success of the Clash of Ninja series means one thing for sure more Naruto games are coming. The real question is what games and when are they going to appear. Possible contenders from Tomy include the Naruto RPG or the Naruto tactics game, Naruto: Konoha Senki both for Game Boy Advance. There’s also a decent chance that we will see Clash of Ninja 3 appear sometime next year since the Wii is backwards compatible. Future games like Naruto: Shinobi Retsuden for the DS and Naruto: Geiktou Ninja Taisen EX for the Wii are likely to come out in the future too.

That’s kind of cool how they’re making games from all that good anime shows. Problem with that though is they’re really only catering to a Japenese audience. Well I guess some American audience but not much.
