Namco mixes arcade classics with tennis in Smash Court Tennis 3

Namco Bandai keeps digging in their arcade catalog to see how they can repurpose their hits. After getting the Wii-make treatment Pac-Man and Galaga are getting mashed with tennis in Smash Court Tennis 3. In Pac-Man tennis players hit the iconic Pac-Man instead of a ball and the ground is replaced from a scene from the arcade game. Whoever eats up more pac-pellets wins the match. When players hit the green pixilated aliens in Galaga Tennis a green spotlight appears on their opponent’s side of the tennis court. If a player steps into the spotlight they get sucked up into a tractor beam and lose a life. The other mini game in Smash Court Tennis 3 is Bomb Tennis where players hit timed bombs as fast as they can to each other, sort of like hot potato tennis.
