Watch: Lost Odyssey trailer

By Spencer . July 11, 2007 . 2:20am

Two Mistwalker RPGs on the Xbox 360 in one year. During the briefing Shane Kim announced Lost Odyssey will be coming out sometime in 2007. The new trailer shows Lost Odyssey is progressing nicely. The voices are in English and you can get a glimpse of combat. Lost Odyssey is a chance for Microsoft to attract Final Fantasy fans to the Xbox 360. Both series have a similar style, sci-fi elements and heroes who wield ridiculously large swords, but one doesn’t have chocobos.

Later this week I have a meeting to check out Lost Odyssey with Microsoft so if you have questions about it post them here. I’ll try to answer them after the session.

I MUST have this game. Microsoft picking up the Gooch (Sakaguchi) was one of the smartest things they have ever done.

After playing Blue Dragon, I can say that the old man has still got some juice left after all. I’ve been looking forward to Lost Odyssey for a long time as well. I’m surprised an RPG as story-heavy as this won’t have Jpn audio though, I hope this won’t alienate Jpn fans.
