mgspoplus.jpgAccording to Gamefly they are and the rumor is far from unbelievable. Last month Konami announced Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops Plus for Japan without corresponding news for the rest of the world. For single players the plus adds in the Infinity Missions and for online play there are some new characters. Since the expansion disc comes out on September 20 in Japan we should get additional details about the new content. In the meantime check out the trailer.

Veilknight Says:

It was only a matter of time, really. The only thing to wait on now is for Konami to release a official press statement announcing MGS: Portable Ops Plus for North America and we’re set. Portable Ops is one of the best selling, not to mention most played games on the PSP, so it goes without saying that Konami would capitalize on that title’s success by releasing its expansion pack.

With me being an avid MGS fan, I know I would definitely buy this game again for the bonus content.

John Smith Says:

If this is an expantion pack will you be able to use charecters from this game in the original Metal Gear portable ops?
