D3 Publisher is at it again with another Phoenix Wright-like adventure game and this one has a good twist, talking to save the world. In the Simple DS Series Vol. 25: The Koushoujin you play as a negotiator who has to persuade criminals to drop their weapons and give up. Before you rush in (with no guns blazing) you do your homework, which entails reading background information about the culprit and scanning the area with a remote camera. The data sheets clue you into the correct things to say and if you do everything right the criminal will surrender peacefully.
Occasionally D3 Publisher localizes their Simple series games. We got Break ‘em All on the DS and more recently the Adventures of Darwin. Since adventure games are hot now this could be a future project from D3 Publisher USA.
Yeah, but can you jump into a giant robot with pile-driver arms to clean things up of negotiations fail?
@John H. - Sadly not and I don’t think there are any tomatoes in this game either. Love the reference too, you gave me a good laugh.

Would definitely like to see this localised. After all, it might (might!) just help me save other’s and myself if I get held up in an armed roberry. Sure, I won’t know their past, but I’ll use the game and make it up. They’ll succumb to me eventually….
