The first two games in D3’s simple Wii series

We mentioned that D3 Publisher is going to be moving their Simple series over to the Wii and the first two games are coming out in October. On the list are: Simple Wii Series Vol. 1: The Minna de Kart Race and Simple Wii Series Vol. 2: The Minna de Bass Tsuri Taikai. So the series doesn’t start out with a B-rated bang, but the Simple 2000 series (PS2) and the Simple DS series started with generic titles too.

Speaking of the Simple DS series, Puzzle Quest is going to be part of it when it debuts in Japan.

I had a feeling that D3 might decide to release Puzzle Quest in Japan under the Simple DS series line. It actually fits quite well under that category of games, as even now I find myself going back to Puzzle Quest for a quick round or two if only for a few minutes which eventually turns to hours, the title is just that addictive.

I’m interested to find out what reaction Puzzle Quest will receive from gamers in Japan, hopefully the title will be able to garner success as it has done during its initial launch in America.
