The Vanillaware 2022 New Year's card is here, and it reveals the developer will celebrate its 20th anniversary this year by selling t-shirts.

Vanillaware 20th Anniversary Will Involve T-Shirts

Every year, Vanillaware shares a New Year’s card with art. Sometimes it can include a message or a tease. The one for 2022 announces a way it will celebrate a special occasion. Vanillaware will celebrate its 20th anniversary on February 8, 2022 and, when it does, there will apparently be special t-shirts sold.

Here’s the Vanillaware tweet showcasing the two t-shirts and announcing part of its 20th anniversary plans. While more details are on the way, the image says the shop with the items will open on February 8, 2022. It also highlights the two designs that will be sold. One is a Vanilla Boy Dash t-shirt, with the white mascot logo on a black shirt. The other is a Vanilla Boy Spoon t-shirt with a black mascot logo on a white shirt. One of the women in the images is also wearing a black hat with the Vanilla Boy Dash design on it, though it is unknown if this could also be a teaser for upcoming merchandise.

The next Vanillaware game will be a Nintendo Switch port of 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim. It will appear worldwide in April 2022. It will also include some added content on the platform, like new weapons.

Vanillaware will celebrate its 20th anniversary on February 8, 2022.
