Retail Rumblings: 40GB Playstation 3, Zelda Crossbow training?

Opposable Thumbs has a pretty good track record when it comes to retail leaks too and they have two scoops. During this weekend’s Gamestop conference one source tipped them off to the Wii Zapper pack in game, Zelda Crossbow training. A $20 zapper shell and a Zelda game should be a sure fire hit, especially if it’s running on the Twilight Princess engine.

Then from the Sony camp there is the possibility of a 40GB Playstation 3 set to be priced at $399.99. Meanwhile the 80GB model is going to drop another $100 to $499. Seeing a holiday price drop for the Playstation 3 isn’t a shocker, the more affordable 40GB PS3 is. To sweeten the deal Sony may be bundling Spider Man 3 on Blu-ray. The only downside to the lower priced model is you’re running a PS2 emulator, but you can always pick up a PS2 for true backwards compatibility. And their mole tipped them off to a new price for a slim PS2, $99.99.

I would totally grab the Zelda game, I loved the bow physics in TP! It would have been much easier however if this ‘Zapper’ works like it is supossed to…

And I’m content with my 60GB PS3. :)
