Steambot Chronicles had its problems, but its open ended style was refreshing. Out of the blue Irem is going to continue the series in Japan with Bumpy Trot 2 on the Playstation 3. There aren’t any concrete details about Bumpy Trot 2, but it will be at Tokyo Game Show. However, it looks the main character is holding a harmonica, which is reminiscent of the first game.
I thought Steambot Chronicles was pretty solid.
Not as opened ended as I thought (the beginning was especially narrow on story and gameplay), but it was indeed refreshing.
I have the little Bumpy Trot harp, too.

Hmm, so that explains why we havent heard anything new since last year. I could’ve sworn Bumpy Trot 2 had a trailer at last year’s TGS, but instead was for PS2. I’ll be looking forward to Irems next gen effort!
