While Nintendo wasn’t around at Tokyo Game Show, they are going all out when it comes to promoting ASH in Japan. Commercials are airing on Japanese TV and a few extra details are coming in about how Archaic Sealed Heat works. The heart of the game is a touch screen strategy RPG where you tap characters and guide them to combat. The catch is you share action points within your group. This video gives an idea of how the whole thing works.
Before you decide if you are going to import ASH on October 4th check one of video clips past the break.
No, I thought the same thing when I first saw it. :) The FF9 FMV looked better though. ;)
This game looks kickass. I can’t wait to get it.
I like the cutscenes, not surprising it looks a little like FF9 because it’s one of Sakaguchi’s favorites. The battle interface does look a little archaic though, like that of Dragon Quest.. I hope this game would be fun.
Not surprised that this reminds anyone of FFIX, Minaba worked on both after all.
