In December, D3 Publisher is going to release a sports themed mini game collection on the Nintendo DS. There are five games in the Simple DS Series Vol. 29: The Sports Daishuugou: soccer, volleyball, baseball, tennis and golf. Notice that Tamsoft’s choice for character design bears a striking resemblance to the Miis in Wii Sports. And look three of the five games are the same! Granted this doesn’t have the key feature of Wii Sports, motion control. However, the Simple DS Series Vol. 29: The Sports Daishuugou feels very much inspired by it.
