AtomWatch – Rainy Woods trailer
I finally got to see the real Rainy Woods… months after the trailer came out at Tokyo Game Show. Yeah, this is on the old side, but I’m not convinced the average gamer even knows Rainy Woods exists. No gameplay is in the clip, but the Silent Hill meets a David Lynch movie premise is enough to pique my interest. Also somewhat surprising is Marvelous has English voice acting for the trailer. That means it has a good chance to be picked up for an international release and in the worse case scenario the PlayStation 3 version will be fairly import friendly.

Looks scary enough, definitely reminds me of the Shining, what w/ the twins and “redtrees”…

Looks like it could be a winner.
I really hope they don’t give into the temptation to insert torture porn into the game however. The scene with the woman strung up leaves me with a sense of foreboding. Not in a good sense either.

The voice acting is wonderful. Definitely looking forward to this. Question: Is this a PS3 exclusive? It might help in my decision to pick one up.

@Wolfrider - Rainy Woods is coming out for the PS3 and the Xbox 360.

Snatcher is to Blade Runner as Rainy Woods is to Twin Peaks. Hopefully, Rainy Woods is a fun game.

I had heard of this game before, but never seen any screens or video, but I’ve got to say.. this is probably the closest thing to a Twin Peaks game we’ll get. Looks pretty good.
