Tomy tweaks Naruto: Shinobi Retsuden for North America

By Spencer . January 10, 2008 . 11:09am

narutond.jpgNext month Tomy is releasing Naruto: Shinobi Retsuden as Naruto: Ninja Destiny on the Nintendo DS. You may remember the game as the 3D Naruto fighter that appeared in Japan well over a year ago. I loathed the Japanese release, but North America isn’t going to get the same experience. Naruto: Ninja Destiny has an improved frame rate and a total of sixteen characters. I recall thirteen characters in the original Japanese release, if you count one tailed Naruto and Cursed Seal Sasuke as separate characters, which means three of them are brand new. It sounds like the game sticks to the same Clash of Ninja-lite / touch screen item system, though.

Characters: Naruto, Sasuke, Rock Lee, Neji, Gaara, Shikamaru, Guy, Kakashi, Sakura, Temari, CS2 Sasuke, One-Tailed Naruto, Itachi, Tsunade, Jaraiya, Orochimaru. Too bad the two Narutos and Sasukes don’t count as one Naruto, and Sasuke.

It is finally here the seqeul to naruto clash of ninja revolution. Naruto: Clash if Ninja Revolution 2 is Rumored by Tomy, and D3 publisher, and said it is coming out October/ November,2008. Sadly there is no proof yet of what I am saying, but I emailed Tomy and they said there is going to be another naruto for wii, made by them along with D3 publisher, 8ing, Shonen Jump, and Viz media. Stick around on certain game areas, and I assure you there will be proof of it coming out in 2008. So stay on game sites like this for more info, and you will probably see previews in march, 2008, and I reccomend you look at them if you don’t believe me.
