On February 12, a fully localized version of Lost Odyssey will arrive in North America. However, you can get access to Lost Odyssey with English voices and menus two weeks early by picking up the Asian version. Play-Asia notes the dual English/Chinese text release will come out on January 24. Please take note that this has not been confirmed to be a region free game. While some first party releases like Gears of Wars are others like Perfect Dark Zero are not.
Nice! And I’m hoping the US version will be region-free like Blue Dragon, any confirmation on that?
I just beat the Jpn version in the Jpn language track (English track is stellar and better though) just for the sake of consistency. If the US version is not locked, then Mistwalker has just sold me two copies
and a Uematsu soundtrack.
@Aoshi00 - Still no confirmation if any version of LO will be region free. We’ll have to wait until final builds come out for that kind of information.
Thanks Spencer. Too bad they don’t make such announcement before the game’s release. I’m going out on a limb here if I’m pre-ordering for the bonus content and find out later that it’s incompatible. And I actually like the US cover too.
