I may own a physical copy of Rez for the PlayStation 2, but that didn’t stop me from sinking my teeth into Rez HD for the Xbox 360. If you played Rez before you know it’s a short game. So I already beat it… again! At the tail end of the credits I believe I noticed a difference from the PlayStaton 2 credits. The developers still have a line dedicating Rez to abstract artist Wassily Kandinsky. However, after that there is a sentence that says, “it’s just the beginning…”.
It could be nothing, but it sounds like Q Entertainment has at least thought about another Rez title or another game inspired by Kandinsky. What do you make of this?
@Joakim - Ah! That’s a fair possibility. However, I thought it says something like “she’s trapped in the system” when you don’t get the true ending.
Yeah, I think that it says that (”just the beginning”) in the Dreamcast version too.
I would have assumed that Mizguchi would’ve made a hint at wanting to do something (similar to his hints at a new Space Channel game) in any of the interviews he’s done for Rez HD. Frankly I’d be very weary or a sequel, but then I’m weary of most sequels to things I like.

Nah.
It’s just the beginning is what they say when you don’t get the true ending.
