Dawn of a new Symphonia, Ratatosk internationally renamed

Dawn of a new Symphonia, Ratatosk internationally renamedI should use the term “new” loosely because we mentioned Tales of Symphonia: Knight of Ratatosk before, just not under the North American name, Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World. Nintendo Power has Emil, the less-than-intrepid protagonist of the Wii follow up, on the cover of their latest issue. This pretty much confirms the game will be coming to North America sometime in the future and the localization delay will probably be much less than the one year wait for Lloyd’s quest.

Namco finally answers their fans. They waited until like a month before to tell that Abyss was coming here.

Namco should bring over Tales of Innocence and the Destiny remake Directors Cut; this one was expected, what next? Tales of Vesperia on X360 will be released outside Japan? No kidding, considering 5 people will buy it in Japan. (and still looks higher budget than this ToS on Wii)

Oh well, good news I guess; but NPower shouldn’t have hyped it so much, I mean, if they were going to do so, there should be tons of other places to look for a un-unveiled RPG, such as the Suikoden VI rumors, the GameArts next game (after working on brawl, I at least am crossing my fingers for that), Skies of Arcadia 2, Camelot RPG, Monolith RPG’s, Matsumo RPG project, hell, even Nippon Ichi has devkits; go hammer them, Nintendo Power; not Namco Bandai on a game we’ve known for ages.

I agree, Nintendo Power shouldn´t have hyped this news so much…I was hoping for other RPG news like the ones Pedro Silva mentioned…but well, it´s good to know that the game is confirmed for a US release. If it only included Japanese voices…but I´m not counting on it. And yes, I´m still hoping that they announce Tales of Innocence for the US…but after not releasing Xenosaga I-II or Tales of the Tempest…I doubt it. Same with Front Mission 5 or KH Chain of Memories (PS2 version) from Square-Enix…
