After the panel on Lost Odyssey I approached Ray Nakazato, the speaker and president of Feelplus, to ask him how Blue Dragon Plus was progressing. He said things were going good and the title is “half Feelplus and half an external company.” Afterwards I asked if XSeed would be localizing it for North America.![]()
Nakazato responded with “maybe”, smiled and followed up with, “don’t worry someone will be localizing it.” I smiled too and walked off.
Very great news!
But I would probably just import it, depending on how good the game turns out to be, otherwise would wait till the US ver.
Sry for the off-topic post, btw, did you catch what was said at the Lost Odyssey panel by Ray? I haven’t loved an RPG so much in a long time, my new game plus save from the import ver. even works w/ the US game! The immortals realy feel like immortal starting at lvl 50 ![]()
ah man, too hot! thanks for the work!
Can you find anything out about Rezelcross and Yuusha no Kuse ni Namaikida????
@Aoshi00 - Yeah I did, it was about developing the game what was good/bad and so forth. I think Gamasutra has a really good write up of the bulk of that though. You know Feelplus was made specifically to handle Lost Odyssey.
@jeffx - You don’t even know how many people I’ve bothered about that. A month ago I carried the Japanese copy of the game with me to show someone from SCEA… but unfortunately I have nothing to report unless you want to hear some ridiculous story.
The other developer as we all should know is the Nintendo-owned Brownie Brown.
AQ actually localized Vampire Rain (their logo appears on the box), so they might localize Blue Dragon Plus!

Oh, good. We get another game with slow moving battles and an incredibly stupid plot.
(It’s not classic RPG gaming unless the fights move as fast as they did on SNES!)
