Specifically for North America, Tales of Vesperia is coming to the Xbox 360. In Japan, Namco Bandai is still evaluating the console. It may be a multiplatform game, Xbox 360 exclusive or PlayStation 3 only release across the Pacific. As a Q&A in Famitsu points out Namco Bandai will make an announcement in the future regarding the platform. It would be interesting if Tales of Vesperia was only an Xbox 360 game in North America and PlayStation 3 only in Japan, but it’s much more likely Namco Bandai will pull an Eternal Sonata where the title is eventually available on both platforms.
@Hero of Legend - That’s a fair interpretation, so I edited the title to lessen any implied message.
Uh oh. “Made specifically for the USA”. Last time a big RPG developer said that, we got Mystic Quest.
@Chris - I don’t believe Tales of Vesperia is made specifically for North America. It’s just that it will be an Xbox 360 game in North America. The console(s) for Japan have not been announced at this time.
Wii port please, the game doesn’t look good enough for X360, and well… doesn’t make market sense in there either.
@ טכנאי מחשבים
it already was. They’d have to be totally stupid not to release it in US, since X360 doesn’t sell in japan.
I don’t think I’v seen it anywhere in New-York and lord knows I’v tried…
Woo hoo! I’m so glad Vesperia’s coming to 360 - I don’t have a ps3! I wonder why they’ve decided on a platform release for the states but not for Japan?

“consoles”
A tad misleading as that would mean it’s coming to the 360 and more than one other console.
