AtomWatch – and talk about Dragon Ball Online
Around six months past the initial announcement we’re getting a look at the Dragon Ball MMO. The promotional video is eye catching, but it doesn’t show much in terms of gameplay.
So… we travel through time in search of Dragon Balls casually hidden in bushes? Good thing this isn’t the only movie. The second clip past the break shows the character creation system and player created Dragon Ball characters shooting energy blasts at dinosaurs. Besides the cel-shaded style the Dragon Ball MMO appears to be a standard online RPG with a few familiar faces from the Dragon Ball universe.

The intro looks good, the landscape looks like it was straight out of the comic.. I’ve been a huge DB fan for life, but not sure about this MMO game…
While I was watching the video, I was hoping they would make a Chrono 3 looking something like that.

Well, it is still in Pre-Beta form which can mean 2things, The producers are still fixing the kinks in the game or they are deciding to bring it out or not.

Looks good, but I worry this game become nothing more but fireballs shooting everywhere…so I hope it keeps the “DRAGON BALL” feel, more than the DBZ feel. Dragon Ball had a slower but more realistic feel, then DBZ just gaining strength every episode.
