Docomodake DS seriously getting localized?

I’m shocked to see Docomodake on the ESRB list as a Nintendo DS game and this has to be a localized version of Pororon! Docomodake DS. Ignition Entertainment, the company who brought Mercury Meltdown to the marketplace, is supposedly publishing the game with NTT DoCoMo’s mascot in North America. Now, I’m really curious to see how they are going to localize it. The story isn’t a glorified ad for a telecommunications company, but the main selling point of the game is the iconic character.

In case you aren’t familiar with the game, I imported Pororon! Docomodake DS months ago and wrote up my impressions. Short story: I was pleasantly surprised by the charm AQ Interactive gave the puzzle/platformer.

Very interesting, they’ll get my 20$ (if such is the price)

I read an import review of this in my game magazine the other day, it looks quite promising.
