Space Invaders Extreme invades the ESRB, probably coming to NA images More substantial evidence pointing towards a North American release for Space Invaders Extreme is an “E” rating for the PSP and Nintendo DS versions of the game. Add this to the Gamestop box art and chances are we’re going to see Square Enix publish Space Invaders Extreme in the near future. While Square Enix owns Taito this may be the first title published with the Square Enix label outside of Japan since the acquisition. Perhaps, the release of Space Invaders Extreme will open the floodgates for other Taito franchises like The Legend of Kage or Exit DS.

Awesome, but I wish Square Enix would have released Taito Legends II because it's really hard to find. On the other hand, why did they let Majesco publish Taito games like Turn It Around and Furu Furu Park? Something tells me Square doesn't like its logo attached to budget games. Has The Legend of Kage been released yet?

@jeffx - The Legend of Kage 2 is scheduled to come out on March 13. I suppose after it comes out Square Enix is a prime candidate to publish the game outside of Japan.
