Sometime in the spring Infinite Interactive will release Puzzle Quest: 1.5 (temporary name) for people who purchased the Xbox Live Arcade version of Puzzle Quest. The additional quest takes place on a new area in the Southern map where an encounter with Antharg, the Lord of Plague adds on 25+ quests.  To combat Antharg’s new monsters and bosses players gain control of four additional classes: Bard, Ranger, Rouge and Warlock, 50+ spells and 40+ magical items.

While it sounds like Puzzle Quest 1.5 is progressing nicely D3 Publisher has yet to give the project a name. They are leaving it up to fans to come up with the title. Entries can be submitted at puzzle-quest.com starting at 12PM PST today until 12PM PST on Friday. We will know the winner and the official title of the expansion pack on April 2nd.

Grumble, I bought this for the PC (already have it for PSP). Hope it gets the expansion somehow. I can’t imagine playing it on the 360 with the terrible, terrible d-pad.

The 360’s analog D-stick works just great for puzzle quest, to be honest.
