Go to the dentist with D3 Publisher

Simple DS Series Vol. 34: The Haisha-san (The Dentist) is actually “old” news since it came out two weeks ago in Japan. However, it hasn’t gotten much attention and this is one of the few DS games that deals with tooth decay. One of the Tamagotchi Party Collection titles had a mini-game where you pulled teeth, but the The Haisha-San is the whole experience. You do everything from anesthesia to drilling teeth plus keeping the clinic profitable. More money means better equipment, better patient care, more money (the cycle supposedly continues).

 

So why is this interesting? Beyond noting the creative juice from the Simple Series games this game is developed by Tamsoft, the developers of the Oneechanbara games. Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like the bikini clad star of Tamsoft’s most popular franchise made a cameo. They really should have thrown Aya in there as a patient. If not her, it should have been a zombie.
