Ikaruga polarizes Xbox Live Arcade on April 9?

I’m sure this news is everywhere now and some people are very excited about Ikaruga’s impending release. However, the Japanese page citing the April 9^th release date has been pulled. I hope this was done to cover the leak and not a cruel April Fools joke from Treasure.

Also it may be important to note that this was discovered on the Japanese Xbox page. To date there never has been a game that came out in Japan first and North America later. Let’s hope this trend doesn’t start with Ikaruga. Yes, I’m reserving any excitement to prevent any kind of heart crushing disappointment.
