I like to think myself as an open-minded gamer, so even though I'm not a big fan of the fashion designer stuff, I harkened back to my childhood of playing paperdoll dress up and tried out Imagine: Fashion Designer.

Needless to say, I quickly regretted my decision. It's quite dull, and no matter what you choose, none of your clients are ever happy with what you choose. The game isn't really a game, more like pick whichever you think matches the clients wants, cross your fingers, and hope they like it enough to at least pass you to the next stage.

Ironically, Fashion Designer: Style Icon (by 505 Games) is a much better choice if your lil' kid wants this sort of game. It was an interactive process where you actually cut the fabric, do all the sewing, picking of patterns, and makes you feel as if you're doing something.

Rather disappointed that Imagine got a sequel whereas Style Icon did not. So yeah, not holding my breath that Gourmet Chef will be anything better than 'Mama'.

I rather have the sequel to KuruKuru Princess. Hope they bring that one over like they did the first one.

If "Gourmet Chef" is anything like Cooking Navi I would definitely buy it.
