ESRB semi-confirms WiiWare games for North America

By Spencer . March 28, 2008 . 11:28am

We’re past Japan’s WiiWare launch, but what WiiWare games will we see in North America in May? The ESRB provides some clues with the most recent update. Critter Round-Up from Konami is probably the English title for Saku Saku Animal Panic. We mentioned the Japanese equivalent of Block Breaker Deluxe from Gameloft before. However, the ESRB gave it an E for everyone, not for ecchi, which means it’s tame. There is also a rating for Defend Your Castle, which is another launch possibility.

What about Nintendo’s first party offerings? Dr. Mario & Virus Exterminators and Everyone’s Pokemon Ranch seem like shoe-ins.

Well? Unless I’m blind, what is the list?

There is no official list from Nintendo, just three games rated which are likely to be WiiWare titles:

Critter Round-Up
Block Breaker Deluxe
Defend Your Castle

Also Dr. Mario has been rated previously.
