We don’t know much about Sigma Harmonics now, but the development team loves grizzly bears. The brand new property is scheduled to come out on the DS in Japan at the end of this year and it looks like someone is seriously considering releasing it in North America.
Square Enix already registered a trademark for the title, Sigma Harmonics, at the USPTO. In addition to the title trademark, Square Enix recently registered the game’s logo too. As always a trademark doesn’t mean it’s going to be used for an actual product. Fantasy Earth was trademarked in the USA, but it was never used.
It is unusual to see Square Enix register both the logo and the title though. Regardless of a possible English version Square Enix seems to have a prolonged plan for Sigma Harmonics. Could this become a new franchise?

That’s pretty awesome, I always support new S-E IPs.
