Sweet, Superstar Ultra is being released on my birthday! Sept. 29th the Japanese release, or EU / NA one, too?

The Wario game looks interesting, might rent it and try it out.

I wouldn't call the old game a collection of "minigames" Rather, it's collection of excellent but shorter-than-average platforming bits, and a number of minigames thrown in as icing on the cake.

It had more abilities than any Kirby game prior to Squeak Squad, and the best cooperative play of any Kirby game prior to the GBA games -- some of the best co-op play EVER, I'd say.

Therein also lies the rub. This game is meant to be played 2P; you can beat it alone, but it's not nearly as fun and very difficult to get 100% completion. The second player can be CPU-controlled, but the CPU is awful and will make you hate the game undeservedly.

Get it. Then find a friend and make them get it too, or buy it for them. Neither of you will regret it.

@CRIMExTHINK: It's a port of Kirby Super Star for SNES with added games. In case you haven't played it, Super Star is a collection of Kirby-related minigames, but there is also a full-fledged 2D platformer in there. It's definitely a worthwhile investment.

Anyway, I feel kind of strange saying this, but Wario Land: Shake It looks pretty cool. I've never been a Wario fan, but I'm always happy to see a 2D action game on a console this day and age. Plus, the art style is pretty appealing.

I think it's pretty likely that we'll also see Fatal Frame 4, and possibly even the rumored Factor 5 developed Kid Icarus at E3.

So the new Kirby game is just a collection of mini-games? Not a "real" platformer like old-school Kirby games?

Euro name for Wario Land is lots better. I'm buying this for sure, either way.
