It’ll undoubtedly be $39.99 upfront, but if you wait a month or two it’ll likely drop to half that. Seems to be the general case for Wii “budget” imports (Zack & Wiki, Dragon Blade, etc).

This game looks so stupid, but I sort of want it. I’m honestly hoping for a $19.99 though. Of course, since it’s a budget game on Wii, it’ll probably cost $39.99 (Dragon Blade anyone?).

So what exactly are the controls like? Is it really all waggle, or do they do it more of a No More Heroes style?

This is going to be a niche title in every sense. With the combination of the M rating that the game is sure to get, the fact it is on the Wii where these games don’t usually sell millions of copies (there are exceptions I know), and the fact that this probably won’t do anything better than every other game out there they would be stupid to think it will sell at $50. K has it right, $30 is probably the optimal price. Oh and I also want the 360 version which frankly I would think would sell better due to the console’s more adult game oriented install base. I have yet to play any of them, so what is this #4?

This news makes me happy. I was a fan of the PS2 games.But if D3 is going to charge 49.99 for the title I hope it is improved over the Japanese version or has some type of extras. If its a straight port 29.99 would be a better price.

I remember an interview with D3 USA mentioning they had plans to sumbit Onechanbara 360 for release way back… I’m guessing it didn’t pass MGS conecpt approval?

Spectacular. Though I also wish it were the 360 version instead. I’d much rather use a normal controller than have a waggle fest.
