Nippon Ichi’s monthly Disgaea 3 downloadable content is just one example of how they love crossing their franchises together. And they aren’t about to miss an opportunity to bring the hero Prinny from Prinny: Can I Really Be the Hero? into Disgaea 3: Absence of Justice. On November 28, the powerful Prinny with a red muffler will be released as free downloadable content on the PlayStation Store. He has his own set of special moves like the powerful Hip Attack to separate him from any vanilla Prinnies you already have in your party.
The crossovers don’t stop at the PlayStation 3. A screenshot shows Mao, the nerdy looking straight A student from Disgaea 3, will make an appearance on the PSP in Prinny: Can I Really Be the Hero? too. Nippon Ichi also plans to release three downloadable stages for Prinny. The first one is free, but you have to pay for the second and third ones.
Dengeki Online teases there is going to be a “guest” appearance in one of the packs. Hmm… I wonder what cameo they’re going to pull into Prinny. Nippon Ichi has so many quirky characters it could be almost anyone… but it’s probably Laharl or Laharl as a prinny.
