An Ar Tonelico 2 Trailer Sings For North America

By Spencer . November 28, 2008 . 1:45pm

If you played Ar Tonelico you have a pretty good idea of what to expect in Ar Tonelico 2: Melody of Metafalica. Turn based combat with singing Reyvatils in the back row, cosmosphere diving, item synthesis, and vocal music are key elements in the sequel too. This trailer kindly uploaded by Siliconera reader Volcynika (thanks!!) from the US version shows them and slightly different names for some characters. Ar Tonelico 2 is still on track to come out on January 20 which should give RPG fans another reason to keep playing their PS2s in 2009.

Loved the first one! This is a definite purchase. GO NISA!!!

Wow, 1:50 of an Ar Tonelico without boob shots or forced non-canon lesbian shots. Are they trying to pretend like the series is about anything else other than awkward sexual innuendo with generic anime characters? They fooled me the first time – and never again!

This will probably be my first game of 2008. I should probably order the RosenQueen bundle, you get a bonus CD on top of the already included one for the same price! Very tempting.

First game was awesome and this one will be too. I love old school style RPG’s. Especially ones with delicious beauties!

@Volcynika: Since it comes out in 2009, I’m going to assume you have access to a time machine or a similar device. Just kidding. It will probably be my first game of 2009. I hope it’s as fun as the first one.

  • Hello Hello

This is a definite pre-order for me. :)

This is a very awesome game. My friend played the japanese version, and I’m astonished with it. In my opinion, this game is better twice or more than the first game.

I’ve been waiting a long time for this game. The trailer looks great and I can’t wait to dive(heh) into it.
