Could "Nintendo Active Health" Be A Wii Fit Sequel?

Could "Nintendo Active Health" Be A Wii Fit Sequel?Everyone knows Nintendo is pro exergaming. Personal Trainer: Walking is scheduled to come out in the USA this year, but the DS “game” and bundled pedometer isn’t a full follow up to Wii Fit. Perhaps, Nintendo Active Health is.

Could "Nintendo Active Health" Be A Wii Fit Sequel? I discovered Nintendo registered this trademark in the depths of the OHIM, Europe’s trademark database on January 8, 2009. At first I believed it was a European name for Personal Trainer: Walking, but in the UK the game is known as Walk with me! Do you know your walking routine?. However, Nintendo was careful to register translated names for this title such as Laufrhythmus DS Bring Bewegung in dein Leben! and ¡Camina conmigo! Conoce el ritmo de vida de tu familia in the European trademark database. Nintendo even went the extra mile to register Nintendo Actimeter, the name for the device in multiple languages too.

So, I suppose that rules out Personal Trainer: Walking, which means Nintendo: Active Health – whether it’s an umbrella brand for Nintendo’s healthy games or a brand new fitness title remains a mystery.

Hopefully, it’s a future Wii title that uses the Balance Board and Wii Motion Plus. With the Motion Plus, it could really improve the game’s activities. Hey, why not throw in Wii Speak support for counting out-loud (optional, of course). Hell, that alone would sell add-ons.

I would also like to see a Wi-Fi enabled Wii Fit sequel (several of me and my girlfriend’s friends have the game, and it would be awesome to compare Fit Ages and workout times, as well as be able to send compete in mini games, with voice support).

Walk with me! Do you know your walking routine ???? So people need a peice of software to get the to walk? I guess Nintendo thinks we’re all lazy.

K – It’s OK. This piece of software (if it is indeed an upcoming piece of software) probably isn’t made for “us.” And, again, that’s OK. My friends’ wives will be looking forward to it if it comes. And, once more, that’s OK.
