Although I agree, the critics will most likely critically destroy the title, good thing I don't care about those over my gut feeling (and lust).

I know it won't sell through the roof though, but that's because Namco won't hype it, they don't even hype Tales games (they just drop them to the market with no advertising outside Japan) this one will be no different, if anything it won't even have a brand name like Tales behind it.

Still XSeed is different, not a top tier publisher, they go for low profile games that they like and publish them; I'd be amazed if they expected more than 100.000 units in most of their games... but they keep it cost effective and turn a profit. Their translation quality is top quality and they take pride in what they do; if Namco isn't willing to do it... then XSeed is the right company for the job... Actually let me take that back, even if Namco is doing it... XSeed is the right company for the job anyway; Namco will just butcher the J-Pop songs and replace them with something, as well as enforce a new and horrible english voice overs without keeping the original ones... With XSeed we know they'll at least try.

Besides, I'd rather support XSeed than Namco.

Here's hoping the problems you speak of (camera and "hit and miss" combat) can be tweaked up for a US release though

Well, a lot of horrible games managed to sell, and this one isn't horrible, it just has issues, so… there's nothing keeping it from not selling, really. The game has a horrible camera and shitty controls. But everything else is GOOD.
