Is Nintendo Developing A Sequel To Ice Climber?

iceclimbersThe name Rock n’ Roll Climber sounds like it could be a spiritual sequel to one of Nintendo’s oldest games doesn’t it? The OFLC rated such a game with Nintendo as the publisher and Vitei as the developer.


You may not recognize the name, but Vitei has developed a handful of games for Nintendo including 1080 Snowboarding and most recently Theta, a rotating puzzle game only released in Japan. Hmm… what could Rock n’ Roll Climber be?

    EAD also had an N64 action game prototype called “Climber” that never went anywhere… Vitei’s made of former EAD alums, maybe they’re reviving the concept?

    I’ll be sure to clear some Imaginary Shelf Space next to the Gamecube Kirby Tilt ‘n’ Tumble sequel.

      I am still mad about the regular Kirby game for Gamecube that was canned. I wish they had just never shown it.
