I agree. While I loved the overall gameplay, the story was rather “just there” and seems like Gust just wanted character development.

Nippon Ichi seems to have a good lineup on thier hands. If they are picking up Trinity Universe and Rorona too.

I liked the first Mana Khemia so I'll be sure to play this one. ^__^

So does the story ever have you leaving the campus and, y'know, “saving the world” or something?
That was really the only problem with the first game. Aside from graduating, you never really felt like there was any goal you were heading towards most of the game. Oh and the ending was crap.
