Cameo Artists Collaborate On Trinity Universe

image image New characters for crossover RPG, Trinity Universe, are out, but these are not cameo characters. They’re original designs from cameo artists.

Idea Factory asked Mana Khemia artist Kazuyuki Yoshizumi and Akihiko Imaizumi from Jigsaw World to create brand new characters for Trinity Universe. Those games are from Gust and Nippon Ichi respectively. Trinity Universe features characters from Gust and Nippon Ichi games. There’s the connection and it’s sort of lost overseas. Perhaps, diehard Gust and Nippon Ichi fans in Japan will swoon over new character art from familiar artists. I think this post would be more exciting if these were familiar characters.

This is Receipt, an adventurer designed by Kazuyuki Yoshizumi from Mana Khemia. If Trinity Universe gets an international release I’m sure his name will be translated to something else, but for now we’ll go with what the katakana says.

Meet Miyu, a Nekomata who is a bit of a crybaby. She’s Akihiko Imaizumi creation.

I adore Yoshizumi's work. Hopefully NISA will bring Trinity Universe over so I won't have to import it.
  • I like original characters more than playing cross overs so good for them

    Receipt?

That's the best he could come up with? <_<

Have you played any other Idea Factory games? They're not exactly the best at naming people. Spectral Force 3 has a girl named "Al", a scientist guy named "Chic", a ruler named "Prominent", and an elf-girl named "Lilia Ple".
