Summon Night X: Tears Crown Summoned In November

By Spencer . June 22, 2009 . 11:48pm

Remember Summon Night X: Tears Crown? When it was announced last year Namco Bandai slated it for February 2009. It’s June and Summon Night X is still nowhere to be found.

Tears Crown was quietly delayed and stealthily given a new release date. The recently updated official site says Summon Night X: Tears Crown will be ready on November 5. I don’t recall any reason for the delay, but Destiny Links, a new action RPG from Namco Bandai was scheduled on the same month. Perhaps, Namco Bandai didn’t want an established series to clash with a new one.

Unlike other Summon Night games Flight Plan is not handling Tears Crown. Think & Feel, the developer behind Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings, is taking care of the project.

I liked the Summon Night games on the gba, but never played any of the console ones since they never came out in English. Are they like the gba ones? Or at least any good?

I also loved the GBA ones. I know they released a DS one in English. I never played it though, since they took out the side-view action sequences, which I love. In fact, Zelda 2 is my all time fav Zelda game, no matter how frequently it gets bashed by many Zelda fans.
