Dynasty Warriors 6 And Mana Khemia 2 (?) Are Your Next PS2 To PSP Ports

By Spencer . June 24, 2009 . 11:58am

From Software isn’t the only company profiting off portable PlayStation 2 games. Koei and Gust are joining the party too. Koei will release Shin Sangoku Musou 5 Special, the PlayStation 2 version of Dynasty Warriors 6, for PSP on September 3.

The PSP version comes includes ad-hoc cooperative play, new costumes, and Meng Ho from Dynasty Warriors 6: Empires which was just released today.

Mana Khemia 2 Portable is also said to be in development (thanks for the tip Ben!!). Multiple Japanese blogs support the news attributing it to a revised release calendar. Apparently, Mana Khemia 2 Portable will come out in Japan on October 1st. We’re still searching for this mysterious list so we’ll mark this in the rumor pile for now. If you have it please send a tip via e-mail!

Personally, I’m buying the news. Gust ported Mana Khemia to PSP so why wouldn’t they port Mana Khemia 2?

I’d buy a MK2 portable version if released in America, as long as it doesn’t have the absolutely disgusting load times of MK1.

The thing I don’t understand is that with the PSN already in place, why do Sony and 3rd parties absolutely refuse to include true online play in titles on the PSP. For all its faults (especially with friend codes) online play is semi-common on DS games.

When are the warriors gonne DIE ALREADY!?

    • Jay

      Probably after you do

Honestly, you whined about koei games in a topic that doesn’t have anything to do with koei itself. if you don’t like koei games don’t play them, your trolling/bitching wont change anything.

this is a site where people that want to hear news about games like this can, not for you to leave redundent remarks of hate. If you wanna do that go someplace like GS system wars or /v/

      • QBasic

Normally, I’d apologize and amend my statement, however…

My friend, I just can’t take you seriously anymore. XD

        • Jay

You cant take me serious because I was sad to see that a great PS3 game wasn’t going to come stateside?

Mod’s note: OK you both made your points. Let’s break this up and agree to disagree shall we?

          • QBasic

That’s a discussion in and of itself…which is part of it.

The real reason is because of what you’re doing; it’s downright flaming, and borderline harassment. You’re literally stalking my comments, scanning for anything that I said negative regarding the Warriors games, then you get bound on the flame train.

I have every right to report you and shut you up for good. But…there wouldn’t be any fun in that, would there? :3

          • Jay

Fine MR. Mod, I’ll stop adding fuel to the fire

but just to let you know q I’m not stalking you, I merely read the comments after I read the articles, and when somebody starts flaming on a perfectly fine game I defend it.

          • CARBONDOG

Jay, Q has been doing this for a while, he did this on the Atlus USA message board and it’s interesting to see he hasn’t learned his lesson.

          • QBasic

1-I’m not flaming; I’m stating facts.

2-Do you honestly think Koei wants you to “defend” them? Are you being paid? What’s in it for you? Are you an official employee? Or part of the development staff?

          • QBasic

Oh come now, CARBONDOG. :3 You’re just pissed off that I hated Persona 3.

Really. What is it with you people. If having a differing opinion makes me a deviant, then I guess I’m a godamn convict. And that’s just dandy with me. :D
