Dynasty Warriors 6 And Mana Khemia 2 (?) Are Your Next PS2 To PSP Ports

From Software isn’t the only company profiting off portable PlayStation 2 games. Koei and Gust are joining the party too. Koei will release Shin Sangoku Musou 5 Special, the PlayStation 2 version of Dynasty Warriors 6, for PSP on September 3.

The PSP version comes includes ad-hoc cooperative play, new costumes, and Meng Ho from Dynasty Warriors 6: Empires which was just released today.

Mana Khemia 2 Portable is also said to be in development (thanks for the tip Ben!!). Multiple Japanese blogs support the news attributing it to a revised release calendar. Apparently, Mana Khemia 2 Portable will come out in Japan on October 1st. We’re still searching for this mysterious list so we’ll mark this in the rumor pile for now. If you have it please send a tip via e-mail!

Personally, I’m buying the news. Gust ported Mana Khemia to PSP so why wouldn’t they port Mana Khemia 2?

I'd buy a MK2 portable version if released in America, as long as it doesn't have the absolutely disgusting load times of MK1.

The thing I don't understand is that with the PSN already in place, why do Sony and 3rd parties absolutely refuse to include true online play in titles on the PSP. For all its faults (especially with friend codes) online play is semi-common on DS games.

The real reason is because of what you're doing; it's downright flaming, and borderline harassment. You're literally stalking my comments, scanning for anything that I said negative regarding the Warriors games, then you get bound on the flame train.
