It’s official! The North American version of Muramasa: The Demon Blade will come with the wall scroll Japanese gamers got for everyone who pre-orders the game. Gamestop is now accepting pre-orders, so you might want to hurry if you’re scared of the thing selling out.

No news from Rising Star yet as to whether or not they plan to offer the scroll in Europe, but keep your fingers crossed!

Thanks for the tip Denpa no Sekai.

    !?

    Sweeeeeeeeeet.

  • daizyujin

    Nice.

Is the preorder bonus a Gamestop exclusive, or will Amazon get it as well?

    • http://www.siliconera.com/ Ishaan

Amazon doesn’t list the pre-order bonus right now, but I’m sure they’ll be giving it away, too. They usually get all of Atlus’s bonuses, too.

The Gamestop listing does not mention the pre-order bonus as a Gamestop exclusive, and they usually brag about it when it is. Amazon also had a preorder offer for an Ignition published game before, with Metal Slug 7 and the dog tag, so they’re no strangers to one another.

Do what I’m doing and wait it out for now.

When I asked Ignition about it before they just said “pre-order bonus” not “Gamestop exclusive” pre-order bonus. So, I think Amazon will get it.

Awesome. Ironically, I work for Amazon and probably could email the buyer for the category, but I doubt they’d appreciate me bugging them. >.<

I preordered this game almost 2 months ago, before the bonus was announced. Will I still get the wall scroll?

    • http://www.siliconera.com/ Ishaan

Provided you ordered it from Gamestop, yes, I think your pre-order is still valid for the scroll. :)

That is awesome news! Sucks a bit to be Canadian but it’s not something importing can’t solve.

    • http://www.siliconera.com Spencer

Gamestop in Canada doesn’t have this :(

      • Symytry

Neither does Amazon.ca. Amazon doesn’t even distribute Ignition’s games. Too bad it still wasn’t in XSEED’s hands…

Nice.. another $50 out of my pocket though on day 1. I hope it’s not Gamestop exclusive either, don’t really care for them..
