I really don't know if I should get this game.. I've lost interest in dating sims for a number of years now, but the costume changing is tempting, the devil in me . I'm not even a big fan of SRPGs to begin w/, they are too time consuming. To this date I never managed to finish FF Tactics. The last one I really got into was Jeanne D'arc, because I love history mixed w/ fiction (Shadow Hearts, Houshin Engi). Unfortunately I have never finished Operation Darkness either, dying after an hour-long battle a couple of times is very discouraging. Would you say this game is on the easy or difficult side?

I hear you. I really don't get why people would want to import RPGs either if they don't understand Jpn at all, and missing out on the story/dialogue; it's such an integral part of the game, you could even say I play RPGs for story. For example, I tried switching Lost Odyssey to French or Italian just for fun and I didn't like it because I had absolutely no idea what they're saying, except it was silly to hear the same scenes again in a foreign language.

Unfortunately for me, I really do like being able to read the dialogue, or else it just feels like… hmm, awful analogy, but it's like taking a drug. You don't care where it's from or what it is – you just need to get your SRPG fix. I like reading all them boring words and learning about them character people… I just can't quite grasp the importing scene. Unless we're talking about the old Fire Emblem games. Those were just too darn good not to run through ZSNES, as we had nothing quite like it at the time.
