This Tales of Vesperia Trailer Shows New Cutscenes

By Spencer . July 6, 2009 . 2:25pm

Instead of recycling a trailer from the Xbox 360 release, Namco Bandai made a new video with PS3 exclusive pirate Patty Fleur in battle and a glimpse at some of the new cutscenes.

Japan gets the PlayStation 3 extended cut of Tales of Vesperia on September 17. So far we still haven’t heard anything official about a domestic or European release. Regardless, I’m counting on Namco Bandai Games America to publish this eventually.

While I’m not expecting it, a domestic release would be very nice.

domestic release with the pre-order costumes please!

  • Not like it’d be that difficult for them to have a domestic release. Most of the dialogue/etc is already done.

Of course, they could just have English language as an option on the Blu-ray and leave it to importers to nab the game, but that just seems… well… silly.

Release it here! DO IT NOW!

    (Seriously though. I want it)

Ouch, just got an European version and Rita has no Indignation. I hate how releasing first a game on a console and some time after announcing it on the other one with extra content has become a quite common action.

I need Indignation on my game.

I know what you’re getting at, but Namco has been releasing games and then rereleasing better versions shortly after for ages now.

I think I might just import this game for all the goodies, and if we get a domestic release, I’ll buy it again. Third times the charm. Thats how much I love this game.
