CyberConnect2 Teases New Project

CyberConnect2 now have two mystery projects. The first is likely a Tail Concerto or .hack game (or both) for the DS. The second — which was announced just recently via a teaser site — is…well, we don’t know what it is, but it doesn’t look like .hack. The text on mouseover reads something to the effect of, “The moment a storm blows, a new path is opened.”

That leaves us with Naruto as our best guess. Another Ultimate Ninja Storm game? Maybe CyberConnect2 is going to put out a Shippuuden game judging by the text and somewhat grim vibe the page gives off. Something to do with the Akatsuki? That would explain the moon reference.

At the very least, CC2 is getting better at not giving away their surprises via the HTML on their teaser sites.

i noticed the past few days the numbers on the site have been black.but today is on 3 and its brightly colored. after looking though the site a bit i dont see any other games CC2 makes that is currently waiting on a 3rd sequal but the accel series. though could be me getting my hopes ups...

I just clicked on the countdown site. Wind and lightning, most likely Naruto and Sasuke's elements? If it's Ultimate Ninja Storm 2, I hope they would omit the boring side missions and improve on the main game, I hate fetch quests (the reason I didn't like the two 360 games).

Heh... I used to figure these things about by using their source codes... but clearly they decided to move to flash to hide things better.

Holy shit, dude...you've got to be the biggest CyberConnect2 fan on the site. You've commented on most of our CC2 stories going back two years! Haha, that's awesome.
