I too felt that this was one of the best games that has been ported over in quite some time. As was said, the sex was more an afterthought. The normal end to Kirari's route (no spoilers don't worry) left me an emotional wreck. As for the music, it only gets better if you're only 2-3 hours in. The end of that route has a song by Happy Cycle Mania "a song for..." that still tears me up every time I hear it.

There's an awesome video on YouTube with a Japanese guitarist going full tilt on this song. As much as I like the original, the stronger guitar with him playing along is freaking incredible: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WuFTkRG9n84

I'm so happy you posted on this, because there's little outlet aside from the publisher's for an english speaker.

I agree that the translations do have some pretty bad moments, but if a story is good enough I tend to "fill in the blanks" and not let it ruin the experience. Still think it's almost inexcusable given the price point though.

After having this for a month I'm still playing it. The first half leads up to the festival while the second half goes super in depth with the characters, and it was all handled by the writer, Renya Setoguchi, who really made this VN memorable.
I like how the first thing you pointed out was Kirari. I had the same feelings about her at first, but brace yourself 'cause her route pays off big time.
And you're definitely right about he NSFW scenes. They were practically shoehorned into it, but I don't mind ;). Kirakira is also available on the PS2 (JPN), btw.

On MangaGamers' part, my main gripe is the font they used. Even in the option menu you can only do so much. And, yeah, they need editors - at least a dozen of them for these really long VNs.
Great title. Out of all the current ones I'd recommend this one.

Each of the three main female leads has two sex scenes with the protagonist about 3/4 of the way through the game. That is, if you can unlock them for that specific character you're going after. Anyway, on my first play through I decided to have a sex change about halfway through and the game ended in hilarious fashion. Good times.
